Coach Erik McKay is a Minnesota native and an avid sports fan overall. He was a multi-sport athlete in high school and played basketball in college. In addition to coaching AAU basketball, he has over ten years of experience in coaching varsity sports.

Coach McKay emphasizes the importance of embracing the process of growth both on and off the court. He has served in local church ministry for 15 plus years, and he has a passion for the next generation.

Coach McKay is married to his lovely wife Kari. They have two sons, Ezra and Elias. The McKay family enjoys family walks, crossing things off their bucket list, and serving the Lord together.
