KIMBERLY HANSEN

Mrs. Hansen is a licensed and certified Professional Engineer, Certified General Contractor, and a LEED Accredited Professional, who has worked in all facets of the A/E/C industry over the last 25 years.  For the past six years, she has served as the System Director of Construction at Baptist Health, leading the Design and Construction efforts of a $500MM, 5-year capital campaign. She has been named on Engineering News Records’ list of Top 25 Newsmakers and as Florida Healthcare Engineering Association’s Supporting Member of the Year.  She is certified as a Healthcare Contractor by the American Society for Healthcare Engineering (ASHE).

Kimberly’s role at Baptist Health, a faith-based, mission driven, community focused healthcare system aligns perfectly with her service to local non-profits. Along with her husband, they oversee the administration of Sidewalk Funday School, a children’s church ministry to low-income neighborhoods around Jacksonville. Kimberly is a past Chair of the Architecture, Construction and Engineering (ACE) Mentor Program of Northeast Florida and has been involved with the program since its inception in 2009, serving previously as a mentor and Board member and currently serves on its advisory board.

As a Covenant parent since its inception and current member of the Board, Kimberly recently led the way in Covenant’s relocation efforts service as the Chairperson of the Vision and Relocation committee.

Kimberly and her husband, Richard just celebrated their 30th anniversary and are the proud parents of Sabrina, a member of Covenant’s Class of 2023.

EDUCATION: Master of Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida.
